Properties
Physical Properties: colorless transparent liquid with fruity fragrance. Boiling point is 88.4℃, melting point is - 73.4℃, relative density is 0.872(20℃), refractive index is 1.377(20℃). Slightly soluble in water, miscible with ethanol, ether, benzene and other organic solvents.
Chemical properties: belongs to ester compounds, with the general chemical properties of ester. Hydrolysis reaction can occur under the catalytic of acid or alkali to generate acetic acid and isopropanol. Under certain conditions, it can also undergo alcoholysis, ammonolysis and other reactions.
