Sodium bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate), molecular formula for NaHCO₃, is an inorganic compound, white crystalline powder, odorless, salty taste, soluble in water. In moist air or hot air, it decomposes slowly and produces carbon dioxide, and decomposes completely when heated to 270℃. When meet acid, it will decompose strongly and produce carbon dioxide.
