Detailed introduction
Sodium thiosulfate, also known as sodium metabisulfite, sodium bicarbonate, baking soda, and seaborne, is a common thiosulfate with the chemical formula Na2S2O3. It is the product of the substitution of an oxygen atom by a sulfur atom in sodium sulfate, so that the oxidation numbers of the two sulfur atoms are -2 and +6, respectively.
