Detailed introduction
Sodium sulfate is a salt produced by the chemical combination of sulfate and sodium ions, with the chemical formula Na2SO4.Sodium sulfate is soluble in water, and most of its solutions are neutral, soluble in glycerol but insoluble in ethanol. Inorganic compounds, high purity, fine particles of anhydrous material is called metamizan. Metamucil, white, odorless, bitter-tasting crystals or powder, hygroscopic. The shape is colorless, transparent, large crystals or small granular crystals. Sodium sulfate is easy to absorb water when exposed to air, generating sodium sulfate decahydrate, also known as mannite, alkaline. It is mainly used in the manufacture of water glass, glass, porcelain enamel, paper pulp, cooling mixture, detergent, desiccant, dye diluent, analytical chemical reagent, pharmaceuticals, feed and so on. At 241°C sodium sulfate transforms into hexagonal crystals. Sodium sulfate is one of the most commonly used post-processing desiccants in organic synthesis laboratories. Upstream raw materials include sulfuric acid, caustic soda and so on.
